Collegiate baseball officials call Beiden Field at California State University, Fresno, the finest collegiate baseball facility in the country. The 3,575 theater-style seats make it the largest in the country. The program for the stadium evolved from a continuous series of meetings the the fund raising steering committee. Qualitative and functional characteristics of the stadium had to be balanced with a realistic budget limited by the committee's ability to raise funds in the community. |
