Conceived to function  much like a small business and convention center, the Center was programmed to foster quick dissemination of ideas and information to and from staff and public. Administrative staffs for Districtwide programs  are conveniently housed along the building's periphery; the centrally located major meeting room of more than 300 capacity can readily accommodate public and the District's in-house functions - an operable sound partition enables the room to be quickly divided. The generous public lobby can accommodate receiving lines or an additional 100 overflow capacity from the
meeting(s) and is outfitted to display closed circuit viewing of meeting room activities. The professional library and adjoining full-service project work rooms complement professional development program emphasis.
