The middle school existed for 48 years without an onsite lunch program, students were required to share cafeteria space with students across the street at the neighboring primary school. By combining a multipurpose cafeteria in one building with several other needed new facilities, it was possible to expand and upgrade a small middle school campus on a limited amount of available land.
