The 182-acre site is master planned to serve a variety of uses, including a community performing arts center, city library, recreation program, and competitive sports programs. Programming calls for many facilities to be shared for economy and/or to benefit the educational or co-curricular goals of the center. The Center will include a comprehensive high school, a full-service community college campus, and ample recreational and athletic facilities to serve the needs of the schools and the community. This new Learning Center will provide desperately needed facilities and resources and help create an educational environment that will provide improved and expanded opportunities for the entire community.
