Children's Hospital Central California
Fresno, CA - 1995
Through the architecture and interior design, the center's form and color is friendly and playful. The use of natural light through a high clear story produces the sensation of a healing spirit. The shape of the tower mimics that of a church tower located on the other side of Divisidero Street. The Valley Children's Corporate 'Giraffe Logo' and the neon lights at the top of the tower make the building easily identifiable day or night. The downtown facility is equipped with a trauma room and 14 pediatric exam rooms, laboratory, radiology room, pharmacy, separate M.O.B. office, and other support spaces.
