Darden Architects’ Design project in the Reedley Exponent: “There’s a certain age that athletes reach when the game they play changes. The competitive drive kicks in, and the desire to win overcomes everything else. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but something is lost when that happens. I was reminded of that as I watched several youth sports events. Lines of tents are the first thing you see when you walk toward the Aquatics Complex at Reedley High from the direction of the rest of the campus. A tent city forms in the area near the complex’s fence and the junior varsity baseball field.” Read more…
